Thinking back to a Drug Info query i had earlier in the year, the company
recommends Metformin XR to be taken at night with food. This is when the
GI transit time is at it's slowest and when trials have been done.
Although it can be given at other times of the day, they could not
gurantee its release characteristics and glycaemic control Peter Thorn
made the enquiry so he would be a good one to speak to re his experience
with the formulation.
