FYI - Fran

Dear all,

A new Indigenous ear health and hearing online resource is up and
running!

This "one-stop info-shop" on the internet is for people working with
and
interested in middle ear disease in Indigenous Australians (teachers,
health workers, nurses, doctors and more) and is called the Australian
Indigenous EarInfoNet.

Click here http://www.healthinfonet.ecu.edu.au/ears to go straight to
the Indigenous EarInfoNet.

This resource is also the new home of an online Network, which is
called the Indigenous EarInfoNetwork. Go to the site and join now to
receive information about ear health and hearing on a regular basis.

The EarInfoNet is up and running, but it is still being developed and
we want to get input from people working in the field during this
process.

For example, we plan to put a lot more visual material on the site and
also a lot more content and resources that you can download and/or
print
off directly. But this will take time and, most importantly, it will
require input from you as users of the resource.

Please give as much feedback about the site as you like, send in your
resources, project information, lessons learned, information about
training opportunities, and anything else you feel would be useful to
others working in the area of Indigenous ear health and hearing (as
well
as permission to post it on the site).

Be assured that if you join the Indigenous EarInfoNetwork you will not
be bombarded with information. Communication will be succinct, the
content will be moderated and every effort will be made to ensure that
the subject line effectively communicates the content of the email so
that any messages that are not directly relevant to you can be easily
identified and deleted. You can also request to be taken off the
listserve any time.

Please send this information onto anybody you think might be
interested
in this resource.

Best regards,

Susie

(On behalf of the EarInfoNet)
