[CARPA] CARPA conference

The program for the 2007 CARPA conference is being finalised. 

The dates are the 19-20 October commencing 12noon on Friday 19th and continuing Saturday 20th to climax with the AGM at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. 

The theme is Obesity and the topics to be covered include an overview of the general health effects of obesity, childhood obesity, the metabolic syndrome, social aspects of obesity, sleep apnoea, weight reduction strategies (which ones worK?). 

There will also be an overview of the changes that are being considered for the 5th edition of the CARPA STM, an update on the electronic version and some results from the evaluation of the 4th edition. 

As usual we are keen to involve CARPA members and have allocated a session for "snippets" when people are invited to present their own good news stories about their work. 

Please put these dates in your diaries and also start preparing your presentation for the snippets section.
