[CARPA] Strategic planning for CARPA

The question is not so much what is the role of CARPA now or in the past, but what should it be in the future?

CARPA started over 20 years ago when there were no other organisations to support rural and remote practitioners. Yes, the manuals have been a valuable resource and should continue, but what other roles should it have that doesn't duplicate what other organisations do?

This post of Bruce's begs the question - what is the role of CARPA? Those of 
us on the fringes may be unaware so would someone post the objectives of 
CARPA. From the questions Bruce has asked it is evidently more that 
producing a treatment manual every now and then!
