[HCN] MDW3 installation

Can anyone tell me the difference between an MDW3 install where one  
is asked to choose between "other computers will connect" and "only  
used on this computer"?

I'm finishing off an install on Parallels on a Mac and want to keep  
the disk use to the absolute minimum, but am worried that I may have  
trouble restoring other databases if I choose the single option. I  
don't need to use it for other computers to connect.
