[HCN] pracsoft support centre problem

Oh now I see exactly what you mean. Yes this was a real pain because  
they tacked on a new table to hold e-mail addresses with a link back  
to the patients table.

So you have to do two lookups and a comparison.

Appointment Manager (.com.au) does this.
